Bomber (aka "Bruce" for the flight) and I made the trip over the big pond safe and sound.
We stayed a night in a pet friendly hotel in Tokyo where I was able to catch up with some good peep's that I haven't seen in a long time. On Saturday, after visiting a local Costco (koh-stoh-koh), we flew up to Sapporo where we met Mom/Maiko and took the train ride the last few hours to Asahikawa/Home. The above pictures were taken on that train ride. As you can see by the middle picture, he is just about wiped out from all the stress of the trip. However, after a few days rest to get over the jetlag (jisaboke), we are both feeling much, much better.
To wrap this up, though, I'd like to share with you a little video (see below) of how the automatic toilet works in the condo' my in-laws bought (Maiko's parents). Only in Japan can you have either a hole in the ground for a toilet or something as extravagant as this. Enjoy and we'll be back here soon with more pictures and updates.
