Yes....that is a car (with one of those roof boxes on it)! In Japan, it's November 23rd which is the official day Hirafu Ski Resort here in Niseko opens up. I still need to wax my skis, but I'll be up there in a few hours carving my first turns of the year. Woo-hoo!!
Back in Seattle it is Thanksgiving and we (Maiko, Bomber and I) have a lot to be thankful for. We are thankful to have such loving families both in Japan and in The United States. We are thankful to have our health and we are thankful for a very positive year we have had in 2007. All three of us made it safe and sound back to Japan. We have had big (recertification) tests and/or job interviews that we have nailed which have made our future look very, very, VERY positive, as well. Bomber has grown a little and even added some grams (metric system over here) onto his frame. Then again, that may just be a heavier coat because of all the snow we have been getting. On that note, I'll leave you all with a website link you can click on to see exactly where I am on this big, beautiful planet right now. That website is: http://www.niseko.ne.jp/en/index.html
Happy Thanksgiving All!!! See you on the slopes!!!
-Toby (Maiko & Bomber)
