A Short Break From The Big Snows

Today, December 4th 2007, it stopped snowing for about 30 minutes in Niseko and gave us all a quick glimpse of what is coming. After a few more weeks of the big snows, the whole mountain will surely open up and you will find Toby, and his friends from near and far, in the big bowls and wonderful trees of this mountain.

The video below shows the "morning commute" up the mountain, a panoramic shot from the top of where you can currently ski (you'll notice the lifts higher up that aren't open yet) and then the snow falling hard again about an hour after those first two videos were shot.

Toby is enjoying his job and lifestyle in this truly Winter Wonderland. He is also very, very much looking forward to Maiko (and hopefully Bomber, too) coming down to visit for almost a month. They arrive on the 23rd of December just in time to be together for the holidays.
