The Waiting (Is The Hardest Part)

Tom Petty says, "The Waiting Is The Hardest Part" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLCJEYLIBQY) and we have to agree....

The good news is that we are "home" in Tohma and enjoying our life here. It's good to have our own place again (it's been too long). We also have a good daily routine and seem to have our weekends back, too. Toby has increased his exercise routine in anticipation for a big ski season, as well. We'll upload some pictures from our new town in our next post. For now, we thought we just give you a brief update on where we are with "the dream project".

More good news is that we have a farmer friend, Aoki-san, that owns all the rice paddies around where our property is and is making a lot of forward progress for us. However, the rice harvest time has begun and we still haven't seen a sample bale and don't know if we have a place to store our bales. By the way, our last mathematical count is that we'll need about 800 (wow) bales. Hopefully, we'll meet with Aoki and his associate that does the baling soon and all the nervousness from "the waiting" will pass and it'll be all good. Until then, we'll just be singing along with Tom....
