The next couple months are going to be a lot of fun!! There is still so many things to do, but every day and every week are going to bring big changes to the project. This week, we will be putting in the front door, a few custom sinks and cabinets, a "kitchen system" and a few other things like the rest of the ceiling (1st and 2nd floor areas). Next week, the 2nd/fill coat will be applied to 95% of the interior walls and it will be beautiful. The sealant will be applied to the outside and then we'll take down the blue and green tarps, as well as the scaffolding. We'll install flooring on the second floor, the horigotatsu area and the staircase to the 2nd floor shortly before/after the scaffolding goes down. We'll add custom pieces to the walls. We'll then put on the 3rd/final coat of plaster on the interior walls. We'll install the heating system and then the flooring on the first floor. We'll take a break, step back from everything and invite everyone to see what we've accomplished so far.....as well as celebrate Toby's 40 years on this planet. After that, we'll finish up all the loose ends and start the process of moving in. Yes, exciting and fun times ahead. Woo-hoo!!
