Back to Square One

Here are some photo's taken at/from Square One recently.

below: A sukiyaki dinner in the horigotatsu area with visitors from Oregon, Kevin, and Washington, Ben

below: Square One the other day. Can you see my nephew, Ben, in the picture? He helped me scrape the snow off the flashing (1st and 2nd floor) before taking a leap into the soft snow.

Now, a lot of changes are in the air. The weather forecast is showing a warming trend so we will, soon, start to see some rain mixed in with the snowfall. The visitors have slowed and so Maiko & Toby will have more time to finish upacking and moving in. The school year is coming to an end so there is more time in the day to research what to do with regards to the final plaster. Toby has discovered many sources of information today, including the Yahoo! group called "SB-r-us", as well as Bill Steen's blog called, "The Canelo Chronicles". Both of these have a lot of information on plaster mixes so, hopefully, we can find a good solution for our final coat soon!!

Oh What a Feeling! To wake up to such a nice sunrise. A hot cup of freshly ground Kilimanjaro Coffee would be the perfect topping.
